[Kurt goes to get ready, he has to decide what to wear and that might take a bit.]

[ blaine finds a crisp red button down and worn Levi's topped off with a navy peacoat. he can't escape these colors. At least his scarf is more neutral but his hat is, again, embellished with a Dalton crest

he doesn't even pause to warm up his car, listening to the Hairspray soundtrack all the way to Lima.

a few hours later finds a very red-nosed blaine ringing the doorbell ]

[Kurt was opening the door in no time, the smile in his face growing at the view of his friends.] Come in quickly, you must be freezing.

[Kurt was wearing gray pants and a brow sweater that showed part of his collarbone. The house was warm and cozy and he didn't need more clothes. He took a step back to allow Blaine to enter and help him with his coat.]

[ blaine grins, shruggging off his coat, remaining as close to Kurt as possible. ]

It's nice in here. That's what matters. [ he takes off his hat, pushing it over kurt's head ]

[Kurt doesn't mean the closeness. He chuckles slightly when the hat is left in his head, not surprised that it's a Dalton hat.]

Careful, my hair. [But he says it without any conviction or real annoyance int eh tone.] Glad you like it.

Heh...[Kurt ponders if he shoudl just keep the hat on, but they're at home and that would be rather silly. He finally take it off, feeling the soft material, staring at the crest. The Academy was so different from McKinley.]

Make yourself at home, Blaine. [Kurt leaves the hat next to the coat and meets him in the living room.]

No, dad's still working and Carole and Finn doesn't live here yet. [He opens the fridge to get the diet coke after putting the popcorn in the microwave.]We have the house all for us.

[He grabs two glasses and a tray and moves back to the living room, offering one to Blaine.]

[He sips his drink.] To be honest, I leave most of the house to my dad, but the basement is my reign. It's huge.

I'm not sure yet. They were about to move in a yew months ago but...[Kurt trailed off, not really wanting to talk about what happened that time. Thankfully, the sound of the microwave indicating that the popcorn where ready spared him the trouble.]

Nothing, in the end it looked like it was too son. [Kurt was not watching at Blaine, instead filling a bowls with the popcorn. He really doesn't feel like talking about that incident.] Btu all it's better now.

[He admits, finally turning back and sitting next to Blaine, the bowl between them.]
