I don’t know. I’ve been getting the same sort of thing… minus the getting laid part. People are always amazed I don’t already have a partner. They assume I do, and say I should because of my good looks or whatever. It’s really starting to make me feel bad, like there’s something wrong with me.

People don't talk about my looks or traits unless is to criticize my pale skin or call my voice girly. [Kurt never thought of himself as someone pretty or attractive, given his bad luck when it came to love.]

I don't think there's anything wrong with you, people sometimes wants different things. There's nothing wrong with being single.

I know there's nothing wrong with it, but... I don't know. I think I'm just a little hurt that any attempts I've made at dating were for naught. I mean, they were fun, and I'm thankful for them, but I still feel bad, as if I've wasted the other person's time when they probably knew from the start that they wouldn't be into me like that.

Actually, it was my fault, I suppose, considering I'm the one who had asked them out. It seems like I have a thing for asking out the wrong people. By wrong I mean I don't stand a chance, because they either like someone else, or someone else likes them and I know about it.

I think it's why it feels bad. It's almost as if I'm left out, in a way. It was easier when Hikaru and I were younger and didn't care for such things, and never really liked anyone or knew what it was like to fall in love.

[Kurt gives him a look. Don't he know about that.] I have the bad habit to feel in love for people that can't never ever love me back too. But that's not our fault, we can't control who we fell in love with, Kaoru.
